Carpet Inspection
First, our technician inspects the areas to be cleaned, identifying potential problem areas, as well as expected cleaning results. We note any furniture that needs to be moved and advise you of possible permanent staining or damage to your carpet.
Measurements
Then, your technician measures the areas to be cleaned. If we are cleaning carpet in an entire room, a wall-to-wall measurement will be taken. If we are cleaning only "traffic areas," we will do our best to measure the open areas. We charge by the square foot and will only charge you for the carpet we clean.
Firm Price Given
Afterwards, the technician goes over the exact price of carpet cleaning and gets approval from you before starting the job. We will always give you the best deal possible as it fits into our pricing structure. This firm price does not change unless more repairs or stain removals are requested.
Pre-Treatment
Next, to start the carpet cleaning process, the carpet is first treated with a powerful traffic lane pre-spray to loosen soils. A surfactant is then used that is specifically designed for use on residential carpet. This differs according to the carpet's condition or type.
Extraction
The next step is the most important: The hot water extraction. A powerful truck-mounted machine with hot water (above 200 degrees) and a mild detergent, combined with extreme vacuum power, rinses soils, stains, and detergents from your carpet. Approximately 95% of the moisture is recovered here, leaving your carpet only slightly damp.
Post-Cleaning Inspection
Finally, your clean carpet is ready for closing inspection. When finished, the technician will advise you on the drying process - a process you can help with! Also, at your request, we address any remaining stains that have dyed the carpet, as well as any repairs needed after your carpet cleaning.

Stay Off Carpeted Area
Most importantly, keep pets, kids, and any foot traffic off the carpet for as long as possible, preferably 5 or 6 hours.
Wait 24 Hours
Also, wait at least 24 hours before removing tabs from under furniture legs or vacuuming your carpeted area.
